In the upcoming movie The Vow, the actors share a scene where Rachel’s character walks in on Channing’s character completely naked, a scene that the actor employed the help of the prop department on to enhance his nether regions.

“He’s very generous, giving, thoughtful actor. He went to the prop department like a month in advance and said hey, ‘I want to help Rachel out in this scene. I don’t want her to have to pretend too much,’” Rachel explained. “He had a prosthetic made!”

Channing told Access that he worried about Rachel’s reaction skills for the pivotal scene.

“I really didn’t have faith in her acting, to be totally honest. I wanted to get a real reaction from her, because it needed to be good,” he joked. “I made sure that I had [a prosthetic] that was down to my shin and that take is in the movie.”

Adding, “The funny thing was she looked back [at it.]”
